Our Moroccan, Berber and Amazigh handcrafted rugs are rigorously hand-made with ancient knotting and weaving techniques. The designs are traditional and tribal inspired but, looking at them, we can only say that these large rugs are modern. Indeed: contemporary and perfect for design environments.
A large living room with a corner sofa, a spacious living room or an open space, a dining room with a table for 6, 8, or 10 people: in these environments a rug that falls within the range of sizes that go from 150x200 cm and up, up to sides of over 300 cm, can make the difference. But it requires the right amount of space around it: it can rarely cover the entire surface of the room, but it must not be completely covered by furniture and accessories either. The function of a furnishing rug is also to decorate and therefore to be admired!

We leave you with some ideas and advice.
In an open space where the living room, lounge, kitchen and dining room coexist, the ideal solution is usually to place it in front of the sofa, the relaxation area par excellence. The advice is that the rug is at least as large as the entire width of the sofa to create a proportionate and harmonious combination. In multifunctional environments, using multiple rugs can help define the various areas. For example: a large long-haired rug for the living area, and a flat-weave rug under the dining table, coordinated by color or size. In the second case, to choose the correct size, remember that, once moved, the chairs should remain within the textile frame and not end up on the floor.
Don't like tiles? A large rug or two can be a great way to cover them up.
In the sleeping area, a large rug can be placed under the bed, to welcome you upon awakening with a warm texture. Choose a size that is at least 50-60 cm larger than the width of the bed on each side.
Thin or hairy, white or colorful, in the shades of blue that characterize the Akhnif, or in the reds and browns that distinguish the Saharan mats in wood or straw, or the soft Boujaad. One thing is certain: they are all very soft and unique in their kind, ready to make your home comfortable and different from all the others.
