Beni Mrirt Rugs
Beni Mrirt rugs in white or colored wool with long pile are soft and silky, dense and resistant. Decorated with modern, elegant and essential designs, they photograph landscapes, paths and mountains imprinted in the memory of the weavers. A snapshot that comes to us through lines, imperfect geometries and intricate abstract decorations with a minimalist and ultra contemporary style.
Their exceptional quality is due to complex knotting techniques and a washing process as complicated as it is meticulous. Each carpet carries with it the well-kept secret of a community of artisans and craftsmen of the Moroccan Middle Atlas. The result is a luxurious, splendid, soft carpet, a pleasure to walk on barefoot. A unique piece of discreet luxury that makes every space it inhabits memorable.

Each M'rirt rug is handmade, knotted with great precision, always very dense. The master craftswomen work with the highest quality wool, using a traditional manual production technique. This involves very dense knots, and it is the resulting density that makes Beni Mrirt unique in terms of resistance and quality.
But there is another characterizing factor that significantly influences the exceptionality of these artifacts. These are the techniques used for washing, still secret and known only to the men who take care of them. The laborious cleaning is performed on the finished carpet that is washed meticulously, again and again, until it acquires a unique softness. The wool is shiny, silky to the touch.
On an aesthetic level we see elegant and minimal geometric decorations that develop on a solid color background, white, beige or colored.
Ideal in the living room, lounge and bedroom, even as a bedside rug, thanks to their long and welcoming pile they are the perfect complement to a mountain home.
Each specimen is a symbol of an ancient history that is just waiting to be kept in your home.
