Patchwork pouffes with a second life
Our Moroccan wool pouffes are made from vintage rugs and textiles, carefully reworked into patchwork covers that are as tactile as they are individual. No two are alike, because no two source fabrics ever are. It's a clear choice: we favour recycling and upcycling over mass production, and cruelty-free materials over conventional ones. Not as a label, but because it's the only way these pieces make sense to us.
Sold as covers, filled by you
We've chosen to sell the pouffe covers without filling. It keeps shipping costs and impact lower, and it lets you fill them exactly as you wish. For a perfectly comfortable seat, we recommend using spare textiles instead of polyester stuffing: old sheets, extra towels, blankets or clothes you no longer wear. You free up wardrobe space and end up with a softer, more personal pouffe that really feels like yours.
A leather-free choice, a warmer aesthetic
The classic Moroccan pouffe is a low round leather seat. We took a different path. These square wool pouffes are for those who love Moroccan craft but prefer fabric to leather: textile covers you fill as you like, not pre-stuffed foam blocks. The result is something that still feels warm and luxurious, just in a quieter, more considered way.
How and where to use them
We hope each pouffe becomes your favourite footrest at the end of a long day, a floor cushion for an easy, informal living room, or a soft extra seat in a boho lounge. We love them in kids' rooms as a reading corner, and in the entryway as a place to sit, take off your shoes, and let the day go. Paired with a reading chair, a low square pouffe like this works beautifully as an ottoman (just make sure the height lets your legs rest at a comfortable angle).
However you use it - footrest, floor cushion, or occasional seat - each cover is handmade and one of a kind. If one speaks to you, don't wait too long. Once it's gone, there won't be another exactly like it.
