Very large rugs can find a place in large spaces, to be admired and to integrate harmoniously into the proportions of the surrounding space. A living room rug that is around 200x300 cm, 250 x 300, 300x300, even 300x400 cm, requires the right margin around it. It must not become a dominant element, but neither must it disappear covered by furnishings and accessories! This complement can be used to create cohesion or to define spaces based on their function.

We leave you with some ideas and advice.
To define the different areas in a large multifunctional open space, it can be useful to place a very large rug that unifies the different areas. This choice is particularly ingenious for heating rooms with cold or different floors. In the living room or in a spacious dining room, it can complete an imposing 12-seater table and define the dining area by characterizing it. In this case, remember that the chairs should fit within the frame of the rug even when they are moved. In the bedroom, you can place the rug under the bed to have a comfort zone with a soft texture, also as an alternative - much more luxurious - to two separate bedside rugs. Important: choose a size that is at least 50-60 cm larger than the width of the bed.
We love our rugs and we like to imagine different settings for them. A huge white furry rug at the entrance of a chalet or in the hall of a luxurious Alpine hotel. An ethnic and colorful touch in a magnificent living room with sofas, reading corner, TV area, fireplace and conversation area. A luxurious master bathroom with a freestanding tub. A family living room where the children play on a soft rug where you can finally sink your feet, in the evening, with a good book to keep you company.
Now it's your turn!
