Our home fragrance
Ingredients, olfactory notes, personal sensations. This is what they say a perfume is made of. And what if someone asked you what your house smelled like? For us, a beloved home smells of recipes, mothers and grandmothers, gardens, days and nights, summer shadows and winter rests. I am Jihane and I was born and raised in Morocco. Now I live in Milan, but there are times when, returning home, I would like to feel enveloped by the warmth of a Moroccan home with its sweet and spicy scents, warmed by the sun, carried by sea breezes or hot desert currents. From this desire was born the Olio Rosa e Fiori d'Arancio room fragrance. I hope that by choosing it, it can accompany you on a sensory journey between the Mediterranean, the Atlas and the Sahara.
Our air freshener comes in the form of oil to be heated through the ceramic diffuser, inside which a small candle is placed. The hot oil will release its fragrances, perfuming the air with aromas that contain two essential ingredients: orange blossom and rose.
To create the handmade ceramic diffuser, we collaborated with a master ceramist from Fez, a city where this ancestral manufacturing has ancient and multicultural origins, which unite the Andalusian and Amazigh cultures. Together with the craftsman, we chose a minimal, versatile and easy-to-use design. In particular, we studied it to guarantee optimal diffusion of the essences, without burning the oil. The scented oil was tailor-made for Casa Amar, by a laboratory in Casablanca. It contains orange blossoms and roses, elements strongly linked to Morocco: they are used in beauty rituals, in pastry making and in welcoming guests. The scent is sophisticated and mixes sweet, floral, fresh, delicate but enveloping notes.
The candle we include is made of 100% vegetable wax, free from palm oil and soy. The candle holder is completely compostable.
